TekPro is a technical recruiting firm that places mechanics, electricians, and engineers in the manufacturing industry. We are partnered with a modern food manufacturing plant in search of a high-skilled electrical technician that is open to working second shift hours. We currently work 4 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday with a 3:00 pm start time
PONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and repair electrical and mechanical problems on productions lines.
- Rebuild, replace, or repair major components, assemblies, and systems.
- Inspects electrical components during and after product installation.
- Use wiring Schematics and trouble shoot electrical problems in AC and DC circuits, Motor Controls, 480 plus low voltage etc.
- Performs calibrations of Industrial Instrumentations and Industrial Controls.
- Tests electronics for problems and proposes solutions.
- Understand and implement designs from technical drawings.
- Interacts and directs contractors.
- Utilize skills to bend conduit, wire pulling, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate, updated preventive maintenance records.
- Adheres to all safety requirements including preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions.
- 3+ years of troubleshooting electronics and electrical circuits experience.
- A working knowledge of electronics and electrical theory.
- Possess an ability to develop, calculate and read electrical schematics.
- Trade school or college is a plus.
- NFPA 70e training is a plus.
- PLC & Allen Bradley HMI experience is a plus.
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, and walk during the shift.
- Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Intermediate knowledge required in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
- Maintenance tracking software is a plus.
- PLC Allen Bradley is a plus.
- Efficiency Tracking software is a plus.
- Servo Motors and drives experience a plus.
- Vision System Experience a plus.
