Summary
The Associate Product Data Analyst will play a critical, entry-level role in supporting the Product Management team by leveraging data to inform product strategy, design, and performance. This individual will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing product usage data, customer feedback, and market trends to provide actionable insights that drive product improvement and business growth.
Detailed Description

Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately input, update, and manage product attributes (e.g., specifications, dimensions, materials, pricing, descriptive text) within the Product Information Management (PIM) system and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Data Quality Assurance (QA): Perform regular audits and quality checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors, ensuring a high level of data integrity.

Data Enrichment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather missing product information and enrich existing data with compelling content for various channels (website, catalogs, retail partners).

System Synchronization: Monitor and troubleshoot product data flow between core systems (PIM, ERP, E-commerce platforms) to ensure seamless and timely updates across all endpoints.

Documentation and Governance: Assist in documenting data governance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and data dictionaries to maintain consistency in how product information is collected and used.

Reporting Support: Generate standard and ad-hoc reports related to product data performance, completeness scores, and compliance metrics to support business decision-making.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual data tasks and improve the efficiency of product data management processes.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Exceptional Attention to Detail: Proven ability to spot errors and maintain accuracy in large datasets.

Technical Proficiency: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data cleaning functions) and/or Google Sheets.

Analytical Aptitude: Basic ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Sitting: Regularly required to sit for extended periods while working at a computer station.

Keyboarding/Typing: Frequently required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse for data entry and system navigation.
