Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and design individualized therapy strategies that empower them to reach their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapy Interventions: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside occupational and physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide care that is comprehensive and well-rounded.
- Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and caregivers on therapy methods to assist with continued progress beyond the clinical setting.
- Monitor and Document Progress: Continuously evaluate clinical outcomes, refining treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Encouragement and support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
