Responsibilities: POSITION SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant is responsible for accounting responsibilities including preparing routine journal entries, preparing standard account reconciliations, preparing regulatory filings, and preparing financial reporting.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries as a part of month-end close procedures
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
  • Research General Ledger activity
  • Prepare and analyze financial results for Management
  • Complete monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory filings
  • Maintain process documentation and ensure internal control compliance
  • Prepare information for internal and external audit
  • Process Capital AP & Prepare PIS Forms for Capital Projects
  • Create AR Invoices; Deposit AR Checks
  • Prepare Monthly GL Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Prepare Plant Capacity Utilization Report - Quarterly & Annually
  • Assist with Fixed Asset Audit
  • Assist with Budget Files
  • Prepare Distribution KPI Performance Reporting-weekly
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 - 2 years of accounting-related experience
  • Technology skills, including MS Office (specifically Excel) and ERP Systems, preferably SAP
  • Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability

The pay range for this position is $52,726 - $71,707 per year.
