About the Opportunity
She Recruits is actively seeking a seasoned and strategic Administrative Director of Surgical Services for a respected acute care hospital. This is a high-level leadership role ideal for an RN with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and delivering outstanding surgical care.
In this position, you will oversee perioperative services across multiple specialties, lead high-performing teams, and play a key role in driving strategic growth, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute the strategic direction for Surgical Services in alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and maintain strong physician and executive leadership relationships
- Mentor and support a multidisciplinary team, including department directors and clinical leaders
- Lead performance improvement and ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care
- Drive operational excellence in areas such as staff engagement, patient safety, and service line development
- Manage compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards
- Support talent development and succession planning for perioperative leadership roles
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services within an acute care setting
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive service line growth
- CNOR and/or CSSM certification preferred
- Full-service acute care hospital with a robust surgical program
- Multiple operating rooms supporting general surgery, orthopedics, urology, GYN, neuro, and advanced robotic procedures
- Dedicated surgical teams and access to advanced technology and equipment
- Strong commitment to quality outcomes, innovation, and staff development
- Salary Range: $115,000 - $175,000 (based on experience)
- Annual Bonus Opportunity: Up to 15% of base salary
