We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Transportation to join our growing Transportation Group and lead impactful infrastructure projects throughout the Chicago Region.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced civil engineers looking to advance their career, take on leadership responsibilities, and work on diverse transportation projects, including roadway rehabilitation, reconstruction, intersection design, traffic signal projects, and shared-use paths.

- Participate on project teams or serve as project lead for planning, design, and reporting of transportation projects
- Provide construction oversight and management for roadway, intersection, and traffic-related projects
- Ensure projects comply with IDOT standards, Phase I/II design requirements, and MFT requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Mentor junior engineers and support professional development initiatives
- Assist with marketing and business development opportunities as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5-15 years of experience managing a variety of transportation projects
- Experience with roadway rehabilitation, reconstruction, intersection and traffic signal design, traffic studies, and shared-use path projects
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
- P.T.O.E. license or experience obtaining it within a year is a plus
- Familiarity with MicroStation, traffic modeling software (HCS, Synchro, etc.) is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
