Job Description
  • Advise clients on compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and others.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and strategies.
  • Provide legal counsel on data breaches, incident response, and risk management.
  • Draft and review data protection agreements, policies, and procedures.
  • Support litigation and regulatory investigations related to cybersecurity and privacy matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address emerging cybersecurity threats.
  • Stay informed about legislative and regulatory developments in cybersecurity and data privacy.
  • Deliver training and workshops on data privacy compliance and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission and in good standing in the District of Columbia.
  • Experience in cybersecurity and data privacy law, including GDPR and CCPA compliance.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary ranging from $260,000 to $390,000 USD annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
  • Up to 29 days of paid time off after one full calendar year of full-time employment.
