Your Responsibilities
- Performing thorough patient evaluations, executing diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care strategies
- Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in conjunction with medical colleagues or independently (based on your qualifications)
- Providing education to patients and their families about preventive health measures, wellness, and chronic illness management
- Prescribing necessary treatments and medications according to established protocols
- Participating in patient follow-ups to manage ongoing care
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and fluid patient care
- Accurately recording patient information and care details within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical skills complemented by an empathetic approach
- Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients and medical staff
- Ability to adapt in dynamic, patient-centered environments
- Experience with EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth technology
