Humana is on a mission to become a leading AI-enabled organization, and we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic AI Enablement Team. This position involves hands-on technical contributions to develop, iterate, and deploy scalable AI solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency throughout the company. Collaborating with both business and technology stakeholders, you will work on high-impact projects that align with Humana's strategic AI goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions to automate workflows, enhance customer interactions, and improve operational processes.
  • Scale and integrate AI into enterprise operations through Symbio initiatives, facilitating more informed decision-making across business units.
  • Quickly prototype and create showcase-ready AI tools to highlight innovation and gain support in leadership discussions.
  • Conduct technical assessments and integrate AI hardware, ensuring adherence to security, performance, and regulatory standards for sensitive tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to contract engineers on AI initiatives, ensuring consistent quality and delivery.
  • Work closely with business partners to refine use cases and foster AI adoption throughout the enterprise.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering and DevOps within the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (equivalent work experience is acceptable).
  • 5+ years of experience in software application development and testing.
  • Proven experience in developing applications using Python, .NET, and Java for end-user usage, beyond model development or data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying, fine-tuning, and utilizing LLM (AI Models).
  • Demonstrated expertise with modern tools and technologies, including LLM, MCP, and additional Gen AI tools.
  • Ability to manage complex technical projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies; experienced in leading engineering teams in agile environments.
  • Solid grasp of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Extensive familiarity with DevOps practices and enterprise platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
  • Proficiency in Git and repository management, including branching and environment handling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; adept at troubleshooting and experimenting with new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with Artifactory for artifact repository management.
  • Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning techniques applied to business scenarios.
  • A passion for improving consumer experiences through technology.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for technical discussions and leadership reporting.
  • A proven track record in effective cross-functional collaboration.
