Join our client's elite project team in Charlotte, NC on a high-impact contract focused on defining the future of captive finance for major auto, industrial equipment, or technology firms. Key Responsibilities: As a Strategy Contractor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives, delivering specialized expertise in all aspects of captive finance operations.
- Pioneer the development of go-forward strategies, new business units, or revenue-producing assets without direct client input.
- Lead the establishment and design of future operating models, making strategic decisions on the future state structure, and performing technical work to support the client's long-term strategic vision.
- Advise on the required technology ecosystem, including platform selection, integration needs, and IT security for captive operations.
- Develop and articulate compelling, data-driven business cases for captive formation or enhancement, translating technical findings into actionable, client-ready deliverables.
- Drive client conversations and stakeholder engagement sessions with client executives to capture business objectives, current pain points, and expectations for the captive solution.
- Provide subject matter expertise across the comprehensive value chain, including Dealer Credit Management, Originations, Servicing, and Collections, drawing on practical operational experience.
- Captive Experience: Deep, direct, End-to-End Captive Experience standing up and operating a captive, preferably in the auto, industrial equipment, or tech/fintech sectors.
- Consulting Core Skills: Intermediate (5 years) experience level is required for Core Consulting Skills, Strategic Change - Stakeholder Engagement Planning, MS PowerPoint, and Excellent Communications Skills.
- Strategy & Finance: Proven ability to understand the cost structure and functional strengths of leading captive software partners, and conduct complex cost/benefit analysis.
