The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our inpatient service. This is a full-time position, working collaboratively with the Unit Chief as a member of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychology, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social work, nursing, creative arts therapy, and trainees to provide patient care including:
- Provision of primary psychiatric and medical care to all assigned patients on a 15-bed inpatient unit;
- Participation in inter-disciplinary team in treatment planning and ensure appropriate clinical management of all issues regarding assigned patients;
- Liaison work with patient families, other medical specialties and institutions, as pertains to assigned patients;
- Adherence to all Federal, State, and City regulations;
- Supervision of psychiatric nurse practitioners and/or residents and other clinical trainees providing patient care services;
- Participation in periodic departmental attending call, usually two weeks per academic year.
All attending Psychiatrists in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry service at Bellevue receive a faculty appointment in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine with additional opportunities for teaching and other academic endeavors.
Minimum Salary: $240,000
Maximum Salary: $281,000

Minimum Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- New York State Medical license
