Kforce has a client in Brandon, FL that is seeking a Planner/Scheduler PM.Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate contractor work to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Scope, plan, and estimate contractor work in alignment with established procedures, ensuring work packages include all required permits, safety guidelines, and documentation
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and resource forecasts for maintenance and construction activities
  • Coordinate schedule reviews with stakeholders and ensure accuracy of planned work
  • Communicate project plans and updates to all stakeholders and maintain contractor schedules (daily, weekly, outage work)
  • Monitor and manage overtime usage, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and ensure proper closure of work orders and follow-up actions after job completion
  • Oversee receipt of materials and ensure timely distribution for payment processing
  • Review and approve invoices within authorization limits and route for additional approvals as needed
  • Develop and maintain planning reports, KPIs, and other performance metrics
  • Lead efforts in process improvement, documentation management, and lessons learned initiatives
  • Participate in decisions regarding contractor resource allocation, scheduling, and selection to optimize performance and control costs
  • Purchase required materials, consumables, and equipment in accordance with project schedules
  • Perform additional tasks or special assignments as directed by management
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • PMP certification preferred
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in planning, scheduling, and cost management


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
