Job Summary:
The primary role of the candidate is to assist with the uplift of GSAL's Agency Lending Applications to a new suite of Dynamic Compute servers. The candidate is expected to participate in the entire process software development life cycle from definition of requirements through deployment and support. The successful candidate will work closely with GSAL's IT peers and the Agency Lending user community (traders, operations and client services) in support of clients in both the US and Europe. If necessary, the candidate is expected to work closely with colleagues and users in other regions.
DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS:

Skills & Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years OO design/development
• 2+ years Java
• Experience with full project life cycle
• Knowledge Solid communication and presentation skill
• Experience with Linux operating systems / Shell Scripting
• OO design and implementation experience essential
Preferred Qualifications
• OO design and implementation experience essential
• Core Java experience essential
• RDBMS experience essential, Sybase or UDB a plus
• Experience with real-time systems/messaging infrastructures with multi-thread capability highly desirable
• Familiarity with build/deployment tools
• Test driven development and methodology using tools like Fitness a plus
• Listed Stock Loan / Agency Lending knowledge a strong plus
Programming Languages:
• 2+ years OO design/development
• 2+ years Java
• 2+ years RDBMS, Sybase or UDB preferred
