Job Responsibilities
- Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and develop personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional ambitions.
- Implement Proven Interventions: Apply proven methodologies to enhance motor skills, cognitive functions, and essential daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nurses for comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of patient recovery.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their loved ones on therapy techniques that support continuous progress beyond clinical settings.
- Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes meticulously, revising treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the path to success.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications available and encouraged
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is mandatory
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
