JOB SUMMARY:
As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering patient care in urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. Your responsibilities will include performing initial evaluations, conducting x-ray tests, and preparing patients for provider assessments by documenting their histories, taking vital signs, and ensuring appropriate care based on acuity levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
While this list is not exhaustive, the following duties are typically expected in this role:
- Welcome patients with a friendly demeanor, clearly communicating next steps and estimated wait times.
- Address patient concerns and act swiftly in urgent or emergency situations.
- Ensure prompt follow-up on lab and x-ray results, making calls with urgency.
- Assist front desk staff with check-in and check-out processes when necessary.
- Accurately record vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergies.
- Support patient transfers, assist in procedures, and help with lab work under the supervision of providers.
- Prepare and administer X-Rays with attention to safety and proper positioning.
- Complete all visit documentation and maintain a clean and stocked examination room.
- Adhere to infection control, safety practices, and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical tasks as instructed.
SCHEDULE:
Full-time team members will enjoy a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
BLS Certification
Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
Experience with X-Ray imaging is a plus.

Our facilities operate seven days a week: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All centers are Accredited Care Centers, recognizing our commitment to safety and quality care.
