Overview
- Monday-Friday 11am-7pm
- $21.50-$22.00

- Supports the care delivery team in the administrative office for a variety of patient and family related tasks, such as coordination of discharge, durable medical equipment and other vendor needs.
- Communicates with patients, vendors and hospital staff as needed.
- Provides administrative support for tracking ongoing care activities (vendor liaison, equipment pickup coordination, scheduling appointments).
- Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting such as unit secretary, clinic operations, health administrative assistant or front office.
Preferred
- Associate's degree in business, healthcare or related field.
- Bilingual (specifically fluent in Spanish).
