CDM Smith is seeking a passionate Geotechnical Engineering Intern to become a vital part of our dynamic team This is a fantastic opportunity for interns pursuing their Masters in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the field.

As an intern, you will:

  • Collaborate with leading industry engineers on a variety of exciting public, federal, and industrial projects.
  • Assist with subsurface investigations and provide oversight during construction activities related to subsurface work.
  • Support senior engineers in executing calculations and analyses pertinent to geotechnical projects.
  • Help prepare comprehensive reports, plans, and specifications.
  • Contribute to a range of office tasks that support our Geotechnical projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Masters program focusing on Geotechnical or Civil Engineering. While previous academic, co-op, or internship experience in a Geotechnical Lab is preferred, it is not required.
