The Training Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct employee training and development programs.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Casting and DME experience is required. Minimum of 2 years preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
- Minimum two years of training experience required, preferably in a medical office setting
- Detailed Knowledge of practice management computer software
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development
- Strong presentation skills
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives
- Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers
- Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers' specific needs to maintain or improve job skills
- Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
- Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
- Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization
- Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff
- Follows all applicable department and practice policies and procedures
- Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA privacy and confidentiality guidelines established by the practice
- May provide performance evaluations for training preceptors
- Attends all regular meetings
- Performs other duties as required and assigned by the Manager, including schedule changes and travel to office locations as assigned
