Procurement Specialist

- Purchase raw materials, components, and consumables through MRP and purchase requisitions.
- Validate supplier quotes and lead times; negotiate pricing where appropriate.
- Track orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve issues with late or incorrect shipments.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and service teams to meet operational needs.
- Work with Accounting and Receiving to reconcile invoice and delivery discrepancies.
- Support supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement.
- 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems for planning and purchasing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management capabilities.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel required).
