Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiological and interventional procedures efficiently and document accurately.
- Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team including technologists, physicians, and nurses.
- Evaluate patient conditions to ensure effective procedures.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding procedures and expectations.
- Provide excellent patient care and maintain a safe environment.
- Ensure availability of clinical equipment and supplies.
- Demonstrate knowledge across various patient age groups, including neonatal to geriatric.
- Proficiently operate equipment within the Interventional Suite.
- Maintain effective communication with Radiologists and physicians.
- Participate in staff development and maintain your own professional growth.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates Degree from an accredited program in radiology.
Experience:
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; one to two years in an acute care setting is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification.
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
