Summary: As an Experienced Welder, you will undertake a diverse range of welding operations, transforming materials into high-quality products that meet customer specifications. Your role is critical in supporting the Company’s vision, goals, and Core Values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: You will:

• Weld tanks and components based on mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Interpret weld requirements and apply the appropriate wire and filler materials for various materials, including steel alloys and aluminum.
• Ensure weld quality meets established criteria, verified through x-ray and penetrant inspection.
• Maintain dimensional tolerances as per blueprints.
• Utilize a working knowledge of fixturing and weld setups.
• Employ conventional and precision measuring instruments for work verification.
• Participate in process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 standards, ensuring compliance with procedures and work instructions.
• Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives and lean programs.
• Execute proficient welding techniques, including TIG, fusion welding, spot welding, and brazing, especially for stainless steel and aluminum.
• Manage cleaning and preparation of parts prior to welding.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not involve supervisory duties; however, self-supervision is essential to uphold the Company’s philosophy of Continual Improvement and Core Values.

Quality Responsibilities: Maintain or exceed the expected quality standards that influence both internal and external customer satisfaction. This includes adhering to established policies and utilizing problem-solving techniques to address quality issues.

Qualifications: You should possess proficiency in assigned welding techniques, specifically TIG welding for stainless and aluminum fabrication. You must be able to perform all essential duties effectively.

Education and Experience: Completion of formal welding training through a vocational school or apprenticeship program is required.
