Ultrasound Tech needed asapUnder the direction of Radiology leadership the Ultrasound tech performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the use of ultrasound for the diagnosis of disease or pathology. Must use various ultrasound modalities dependent on the type of anatomy being examined. Must become proficient in recognizing cross-sectional anatomy and understanding of related technology. Demonstrates favorable guest relations and continues to promote values of the hospital in daily work performance. May also perform other related patient care duties.Locals AcceptedDysrhythmia exam not requiredMinimum 2 years of experience requiredCerts/Licenses Required: RDMS ABD or OB/GYN, BLSTechs will assist with procedures (paras, thoras, thyroid bipsies) - need experience in these areasPreferred: ACLS, Certified in ultrasonic technology by the American Registry of Diagnotic Medical Sonographers.

Required Qualifications

Sonographer, Diagnostic Experience: 2 years Certifications: RDMS-AB-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Copy needed)

RDMS-OB(Copy needed)

BLS(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 2 References in entire work history

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred: ACLS, Certified in ultrasonic technology by the American Registry of Diagnotic Medical Sonographers.
