About the job Warehouse Associate

Brighton Solutions is a leader in Engineering, Technology and Professional Staffing and Search. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to work in Lenexa, KS.

The Warehouse Associate completes and coordinates day to day operational functions such as packing, shipping, receiving and distribution of the warehouse products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Pull finished product for shipping
  • Stage finished product for packing.
  • Move waste from warehouse floor to dumpsters.
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
  • Operate forklift, cherry pickers and Cushman's as needed.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Efficiently carrying out all orders of the supervisors.
  • Working in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse.
  • Coordinating work with fellow workers and other team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Education / Experience:
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. High school diploma required.
  • Forklift certification and applicable state certification for truck and/or rail operation.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds required.
  • Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company.
  • Should have the ability to work in a team.
  • Should be physically able to complete all assigned work efficiently.
