Job Description

Summary

Deliver products between United Radio on Enterprise Parkway and warehouse located on Ainsley Drive. Package and ship all out going units, so they arrive undamaged at their proper destination. Unpack and distribute all incoming units. Unpack and distribute all incoming units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage activities associated with receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks.
  • Opening and distribution of all incoming packages.
  • Package and ship units daily.
  • Keep packages sorted between carriers.
  • Be sure all packages shipped out of United Radio will give customers a positive and professional opinion of our company.
  • Keep shipping and receiving area clean and safe.
  • Process inventory
  • Data entry
  • Work late as deemed necessary to ensure all customer units are shipped on time.
  • Comply with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.
  • Promote and adhere to the United Radio Core Values
  • Perform related duties as requested.
Qualifications

Education and/or experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous experience preferred but not required.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel.
  • Basic understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to operate a small box truck
  • Ability to operate a Forklift
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities appropriately.
  • * Must have valid NYS driver's license

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is an estimated hourly rate between $16.50 - $17.00 an hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
