Front End Software Developer: Hybrid-Columbia, MD
No clearnace but an S is preferred
Job Description • Serves as a Front-End Software Developer o Build intuitive applications o Write maintainable code o Build applications for a Big Data Platform • Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications • JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review • Coordinate with other engineers to build holistic user experiences • Help define and interact with REST based API's • Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support • Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing
Qualifications: • BS in Computer Science / Engineering (or related career field) o 5+ years of experience w/ front-end software development • Master's degree o +3 years relevant experience w/ front-end software development • High School Diploma or equivalent o + 9 years relevant experience w/ front-end software development • Experience with JavaScript • Experience with one or more web application frameworks o (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) • Familiarity with Git or other version control software • Comfortable working on a *nix command line • Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly • Self-Motivated with problem solving skills • Ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed
Clearance: Secret Job Type: Full-time Hybrid: 2-3 Days/Week Onsite
