KPMG is currently looking for a Senior AI Security Penetration Tester to enhance our Managed Services practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct AI-focused penetration testing engagements, including manual assessments of AI/ML systems, objective-based evaluations of AI-driven features, and comprehensive coverage of various attack surfaces.
  • Engage in threat modeling for AI-powered applications, assess AI-related business logic, and review system architectures with an emphasis on adversarial ML and prompt vulnerability risks.
  • Create and refine innovative AI tools and methodologies for offensive security tasks such as discovery, exploitation, fuzzing, and adversarial ML testing, especially targeting web applications, APIs, and mobile environments.
  • Present penetration testing findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through live demonstrations, and collaborate with engineering and security teams on remediation efforts and secure AI model development practices.
  • Investigate emerging AI attack techniques, assess their potential impacts, identify security vulnerabilities, and offer actionable recommendations to bolster AI defenses.
  • Work with internal Red Teams, SOC analysts, and AI security researchers to enhance red teaming approaches through the integration of new adversarial ML methods and established exploitation techniques.
  • Uphold KPMG's values of integrity, professionalism, and respect in the workplace.
Qualifications:
  • At least three years of experience in penetration testing, particularly with APIs, web applications, and mobile platforms; experience with AI model testing is highly preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Strong expertise in AI red teaming and adversarial attack development, including prompt engineering and vulnerability analysis on LLMs.
  • Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite Pro and AI security frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate AI-related vulnerabilities to diverse stakeholders and facilitate remediation.
  • A major ethical hacking certification (e.g., GWAPT, CREST, OSWE) and training in AI security techniques are mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
