We are looking for a Project Estimator tojoin our Sparks, MD team

Asa Project Estimator at Fidelity Mechanical Services, your primaryresponsibilities will be:
  • Developing detailed estimates and proposals for mechanical construction projects.
  • Obtainingand evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing for compliance with projectspecifications and drawings.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, verify site conditions, and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
  • Managingthe bid preparation and formal written proposal process.
  • Maintaining records of all working documents and data to back up estimates andproposals.
  • Assisting, organizing, and prioritizing work in conjunction with sales engineers.
Asa Project Estimator at Fidelity Mechanical Services, you should have thefollowing qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • 3 to 5 yearsof preparing estimates and proposals for commercial, industrial, and/or municipalmechanical projects.
  • Must have the ability to provide a complete commercial mechanical construction estimate and proposal for either plan/spec or design/build projects, including plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal work.
  • Must be knowledgeable with reading and interpreting blueprints and/or specifications.
  • Ability to survey mechanical systems, and interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Wage Range:
  • Salary of $65,000 - $100,000 per year + discretionary bonus
    • Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
