Position Overview:

This full-time position offers evening shifts with a competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15 per hour and a fantastic benefits package, which includes:

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible for relocation
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus for PM shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready and compliant with aseptic techniques.
  • Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, maintaining a clear and organized workspace, and anticipating the needs of the surgeons.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment, including setup and disassembly of equipment.
  • Participate in patient transport and positioning while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Contribute to the overall quality of care by observing and reporting any deviations in aseptic techniques.
  • Transport equipment and maintain specialty carts, ensuring all items are operational and ready for use.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is needed within the first six months of employment.
  • No prior experience is necessary; a passion for patient care and a willingness to learn are essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform various physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Exposure to medical hazards including blood and body fluids is inherent in this role.
