Firewall Network Security Specialist

San Jose, CA

Role Description:

Looking for a Firewall Network Security Specialist with hands-on expertise in enterprise firewall platforms, preferably with Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD) and/or Palo Alto Networks.

The role requires strong familiarity with firewall policies, configuration management, traffic monitoring, and associated network security technologies.

Key Requirements

Deep technical knowledge of firewall platforms including Cisco FTD and/or Palo Alto Experience with managing security configurations, access policies, VPN, NAT, IPSIDS, and segmentation

Familiarity with security feature mapping to compliance or control objectives

Strong understanding of network protocols, threat detection, and incident response support

Ability to collaborate with compliance teams and translate security features into framework-aligned capabilities

Competencies: Digital : Network Security Palo Alto

Experience (Years): 10 & Above
