Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric & Adult Congenital

Location: Cleveland, OH

Schedule: Days, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. This role focuses on performing high-quality echocardiograms for pediatric and adult congenital patients, ensuring compassionate care and comfort for patients and families. You will also play a key role in education, research, and quality initiatives within our echocardiography lab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiograms following IAC-approved protocols.

  • Complete reports in collaboration with reading physicians.

  • Teach echocardiography techniques and interpretation to Pediatric Cardiology Fellows, students, and families.

  • Participate in lab meetings, quality assurance, research projects, and educational sessions.

  • Maintain equipment per manufacturer, ODH, IAC, and JCAHO standards.

  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and motivating staff.

  • Comply with all PHI security requirements and organizational policies.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound Program.

  • Minimum 5 years of pediatric echocardiography experience.

Certifications

  • RDCS-AE/PE or RCS required.

  • RDCS-PE or RCCS within two years of hire.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of cardiac pathology.

  • Proficiency in pediatric echo studies and operation of all echo machines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team.

  • Basic computer skills and administrative competence.

  • Passion for working with pediatric patients and families.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $83200.00/yr.
