Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Cincinnati, OH. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Conduct reliability analysis and safety assessment of electronic and electro-mechanical devices containing analog, digital, and RF circuitry.
  • Analyses include Stress Analysis, Reliability Prediction, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Testability Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and System Hazard Analysis.
  • Write detailed reliability analysis and safety assessment reports.
  • Generate reliability and safety plans and procedures.
  • Interpret and allocate reliability and safety requirements.
  • Perform reliability, maintainability, availability, safety, FMEA, FMECA, and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Monitor and assist with failure recording. Participate in failure analysis to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • Actively engage with system design engineers to develop new designs/configurations.
  • Provide recommendations to ensure compliance with reliability and safety requirements.
  • Participate in system design reviews, presentations, and meetings with customers.
  • Liaise with clients and other technical disciplines within the company on reliability and safety issues.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 8 years of experience.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Master's Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously during development and production stages.
  • Teamwork.
  • Good communication skills, including presentations and customer communication.
  • Good reprioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
