As a key player in Spectra's Test Engineering Group, you will focus on automated validation of new features, bug fixes, and overall quality of the product. Day-to-day activities will include developing test infrastructure, test cases and test plans in Golang, participating in design and code reviews with all development teams, implementing small to medium features and bug fixes in production code, and diagnosing failures found via automated testing.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Developing in Go to improve the quality of the product. This includes automation code, production code, and proof of concept code.
  • Designing and implementing test plans and test cases in Go that run continuously.
  • Performing root cause analysis on issues found and implementing fixes.
  • Working closely with other development teams to drive quality, improve functionality, and transfer knowledge.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Must have B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
  • A passion for creating world class products by applying new testing methodologies, think outside of the box
  • Strong analytical, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with basic System Administrator for Linux environments
  • Experience with Go
  • Experience with HW and SW integrated solutions
COMPENSATION:

Base salary range: $70,000 to $100,000 annually. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate's actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
