About Us

Jim Winter Auto Group is a family business serving the Jackson Community since 1970.  We are Building a NEW FACILITY and tripling the size of our in-demand shop to serve more customers.  If the first paragraph sounds like YOU, we need to talk.  We have competitive Compensation & Benefits and a team mentality that’s second to none.  Our Leadership Team will make sure you’re staying busy and learning to grow your income and career.  Hours are 40 hours most weeks with occasional Saturday shifts planned months in advance.  Overtime available as YOU desire.

Responsibilities

  • Repair vehicles using shop estimates and manufacturers’ repair procedures
  • Inspect each vehicle for unknown needs and safety concerns
  • Inspect vehicles to verify final repair quality
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to document diagnoses and repair procedures
  • Communicate with shop manager to maximize your efficient workday

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Collision Technician experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent, I-Car Certifications preferred
  • Technical Reading & Analytical skills
  • Ability to learn and operate computer measuring equipment
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
  • Ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
