Description - Your Contributions
- Conduct routine and specialized tests across various disciplines-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering carefully to established protocols.
- Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples meticulously for analysis as required.
- Keep accurate records of all procedures, mentor new team members, and maintain laboratory quality standards.
- Ensure a tidy, safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of starting the position.
- Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
