BayCare is currently in search of our newest Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist Intern who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Position Details:

Location : Clearwater, FL
Status : Full-Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours : Varies
Shift : Shift 1, Days
Weekend Work : Occasional
On Call : Yes
Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist Intern Responsibilities :
• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.
• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI
Requirements:

BLS (Basic Life Support)
-
ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months

Radiology – State of Florida
-
Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology

Must receive Vascular Interventional modality certification within one year of employment
