Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Program Management to join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in project management, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and programs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large scale projects and programs from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Implement best practices in project management and program management methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Program Management principles and practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in project settings.
- Experience in technology or software development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on program management.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and programs in a fast paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
