SUMMARY:

We're currently seeking a Tax Manager for our Pleasant Hill CA office.

This is a full-time, Exempt role based out of Pleasant Hill. The pay range is $130,000-$150,000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with partners to manage a dedicated book of clients. Clients will be a mixture of Individuals and Entities (Corps, S-corps, Partnerships, Trust, nonprofits).
  • Help, meet and communicate with clients.
  • Prepare and review various types of tax and accounting engagements.
  • Work with and mentor staff accountants.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth goals and share in the success.

  • Trustworthy, team player, excellent work ethic, positive attitude & a "complete the project" frame of mind.
  • Excellent communicator and pure professional.
  • Pro level accounting and tax skills. CPA licensed and 6-10 years of general practice public accounting.
  • Outside interest unrelated to debits and credits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree (Accounting Preferred) Master's Preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & Ability to work well with others
  • Lacerte Software experience preferred.
  • Excellent PC skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in CPA/Tax/Accounting office.
