Our client in Dallas, Texas is currently seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This position offers the chance to become part of a dynamic and expanding legal team known for its precision, innovative approach, and commitment to excellent client service.

Legal Billing Specialist Role:
- Manage the firm's billing operations and ensure adherence to client guidelines.
- Generate and distribute prebills, ensuring timely attorney reviews.
- Apply retainers, write-offs, and discounts according to firm policies.
- Process accurate and timely client invoices in line with client billing requirements.
- Oversee third-party e-billing systems like TyMetrix, LegalTracker, and CounselLink.
- Coordinate e-bill submissions and liaise with attorneys on billing matters.
- Execute complex billing tasks including split-party billing and e-billing.
- Respond to client requests for billing documentation.
- Maintain precise client and matter data in the billing system.
- Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and resolve inquiries.
- Provide billing forecasts, accruals, and reports to clients and management.
- Manage retainers, process checks, monitor banking activities, and post deposits.
- Review A/R aging schedules and generate daily cash reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in legal billing or law firm finance.
- Proficiency in legal billing and e-billing systems like Elite 3E, T360, and CounselLink.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
