Job Overview

You u2019re invited to join our rapidly growing inpatient team at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. Interest in pursuing procedural skills set: Our team will offer training on required procedures such as intubation, moderate sedation, central lines, and chest tube/thoracentesis

Position Highlights

  • Based salary of $266,000 plus metric bonus

  • Average of 15 patients and 3-5 admissions per night
  • 36 bed Med/Surg and 8 bed AAU unit

  • What You Will Need
  • MD or DO
  • Active/Unrestricted medical license
  • Internal Medicine (Family Medicine with 3 years of Hospitalist experience)
  • ACL is required and training is available if needed
  • Education Required - Doctorate of Medicine
  • Education Preferred - Doctorate of Medicine
  • Experience
  • Over 5 years Internal Medicine Experience Preferred
  • Over 5 years Family Practice Experience Preferred
  • DEA Controlled Substances Registration Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License Required
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board eligible
  • License and Certification
  • Licensed Physician Required
