Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) - Continuing Care Retirement Community

Healthcare Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a PRN basis at a highly rated continuing care retirement community in Oxford, Ohio. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents across various levels of care, including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, and short-term rehabilitation. Additionally, there are occasional PRN opportunities at our partner facilities located in Cincinnati, OH and Richmond, IN.

Job Details:

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and cognitive assessments for residents on a PRN basis

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders

- Provide therapy sessions to residents in accordance with their care plans

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic resident care

- Document resident progress and maintain accurate clinical records

- Educate residents and their families about communication strategies and therapy goals

- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Ohio license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam. Applicants must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs.
