The Social Services Supervisor will work as part of the Social Services Supervisor team. This position will have primary supervision responsibilities with Dakota County's expanding mental health crisis continuum and will be cross-trained in other Social Services program areas. This position will supervise a team of social workers who provide phone and mobile crisis response to adults, children and families. The supervisor is responsible for providing clinical and staff supervision of telephonic response, mobile response, mental health assessment, crisis follow-up, short-term crisis stabilization services and service coordination. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing program operations, collaborating with internal and external partners - including 911 dispatch, police and emergency medical services, hospitals and schools - and other stakeholders, and providing system training and outreach. This position assists in the assessment, modification, development, and coordination of Social Services and related programs to ensure person-centered and recovery-oriented service delivery and system coordination.

This position is responsible for overseeing the evening hours of operations for the Crisis Response Unit including services provided at the Dakota County Crisis and Recovery Center, ensuring that services are provided in accordance with the Minnesota Mobile Crisis statute (MN Statute 245.461) and other relevant state and local guidelines. This role works in collaboration with three supervisors to provide 24/7/365 supervision and support across the full crisis continuum of care. The Crisis Continuum Supervisor provides direct supervision of crisis staff, coordination of services, and ensures that clients receive timely, effective, and culturally competent mental health crisis care in the community and at the Crisis and Recovery Center.

Minimum Qualifications

NEED TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree in Social Work, Social Services/Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Corrections/Criminal Justice, Criminology, Behavioral Science, or related field
AND
* Four years professional work in a Social Services agency which must include at least two years of direct service or supervisor-level experience with community-based mental health crisis response or stabilization services.
AND
* Licensed and qualified as an independent Mental Health Professional under Minn. Stat * 245.462 Subd. 18
AND
* Holds a valid independent license as a LICSW, LPCC or LMFT
AND
* Valid driver's license

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
* Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) under Minn. Statute
* Experience supervising (hiring, disciplining, developing) professional level staff.
* Experience working with children and families
* Experience working on a mobile crisis team

1. Supervise, lead and support a team of mental health professionals and practitioners, providing guidance, coaching and professional development.

6. Evaluate and assess program budget needs, determine and collect data needed, and prioritize requests. Generate program and activity reports, statistics, and program evaluations as needed.

12. With the Deputy Director and peer supervisors, establish and actuate program philosophy, goals, and objectives.
13. Provide on-call clinical supervision in collaboration with other supervisors to ensure 24/7/365 clinical supervisor coverage.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a County office building, in community settings and via telework. Some travel is required. Lifting requirement of up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Some positions may be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, gases, and poor ventilation. Equipment used may include, but is not limited to, computer, printer, telephone, cell phone, calculator, audio/visual equipment, and copy and fax machines. Some on-call hours are required of this position.
