Are you a passionate and technical individual eager to safeguard critical data assets? We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Analyst to join a vital Data Protection team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of securing data across its lifecycle - in motion, in use, and at rest - directly contributing to the resilience and trustworthiness of a robust financial ecosystem. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to evolving information security risks, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of vital information. **What You'll Do:**

* Deliver essential data security operational processes, specifically focusing on database activity monitoring.
* Actively participate in a specialized team dedicated to monitoring, analyzing, and responding to information security risks, including policy violations and threats to databases.
* Support the broader security operations, risk management, and engineering teams to enhance program maturity and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, building trusted relationships to ensure seamless security integration and communication.
* Contribute to the advancement of the team through technical expertise, problem-solving, and a passion for continuous improvement.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field.
* Demonstrated excellence in both written and oral communication.
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed, dynamic documentation.
* Proven ability to build trusted relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
* Experience in effectively communicating complex security concepts to business stakeholders.
* A strong passion for designing and implementing solutions that automate manual processes.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Relevant professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent).
* Minimum of 1 year of security experience or equivalent practical knowledge.
* Familiarity with core Data Protection concepts, including Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, Data at Rest vs. Data in Motion, and Unstructured vs. Structured data.
* A solid understanding of information security best practices and technologies.
* Experience with scripting languages such as Python, SQL, and/or PowerShell is highly valued.
* Strong analytical background and approach, particularly in event classification, event correlation, and root cause analysis.
