Coverage type: No Call

Schedule: Well established GI practice of six gastroenterologists is looking for a BE/BC gastroenterologist to provide locum s inpatient consult coverage for 1 week per month ongoing. Training in ERCP/EUS is a plus, but not required. Candidates need to have a Maryland license, reasonably clean malpractice history, and be physically located in the general vicinity.

Position requirements include:

  • Ability to work 1 week per month - 7-day work week. Hour s day shift (8-4:30) with some flexibility.
  • Weekend responsibilities 1 weekend per month.
  • Mostly performing inpatient consults
  • Procedure capability for inpatients only.
  • No outpatient work involved
  • Night shift coverage, and on call coverage TBD, if so, it would be telephonic only.
