Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver inclusive, continuous care for patients of all ages, from children to seniors.
  • Address chronic health concerns, provide preventive care, manage acute illnesses, and tackle mental health challenges with a patient-centered approach.
  • Perform thorough physical examinations, analyze diagnostic tests, and create tailored treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with care coordinators, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals to promote holistic health.
  • Engage in quality improvement projects designed to enhance patient care outcomes and operational success.
  • Maintain accurate, current patient records through electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Provide healthcare both face-to-face and via telemedicine, adapting to patient needs.
Education Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a recognized Family Medicine residency.
Certifications
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • Eligibility for (or current possession of) a valid North Carolina medical license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on preventive and proactive care.
  • Familiarity with value-based care models and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Technologically adept, with experience in EMRs and telehealth platforms.
  • A genuine passion for providing inclusive and compassionate care to diverse populations.
