Volunteer Opportunity Description
At Harrison’s Hope Hospice, volunteers are an essential part of our care team, bringing comfort, connection, and hope to patients and families when it matters most. We offer a variety of ways to serve, so you can choose the role that best fits your gifts and availability:
Patient Support: Visit with patients, provide companionship, read, listen, crotchet, knit, paint or simply sit in quiet presence so no one feels alone.
Caregiver Relief: Offer respite by staying with a patient while a loved one rests or runs errands.
Administrative Support: Help with office tasks, phone calls, and behind-the-scenes details that keep our programs running smoothly.
Events & Community Outreach: Assist with planning, hosting, or representing Harrison’s Hope at local events.
Practical Help: Support families with light household chores, errands, or meal prep-small acts that lift big burdens.
No medical background is required-just compassion, reliability, and a heart to serve. Whether you want to work directly with patients or contribute through administrative and community roles, you’ll be making a lasting impact. Our mission is simple but profound: to ensure no one dies alone, afraid, or in pain. As a volunteer, you’ll help make that vision a reality.
