We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team and lead the way in building Fort Lauderdale's future.
Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects with budgets exceeding $100 million. You will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position demands a seasoned professional with a track record of success in managing complex construction projects and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of large-scale construction projects, from pre-construction through completion.
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage project risk and proactively address issues to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Implement and enforce safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide project team members, promoting professional growth within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 7-10+ years of experience in senior project management, with a focus on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects with budgets exceeding $100 million.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
