Join Foth as a Civil or Construction Engineering Intern and dive into hands-on field experience that brings infrastructure to life. Based in Des Moines, IA, this Summer 2026 internship places you at the center of transportation and municipal development projects, where you'll contribute to real projects within the community. It's more than an internship-it's your opportunity to build, learn, and grow alongside experienced professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform construction administration and observation for civil municipal and transportation projects
- Conduct construction measurements and documentation, quantity reporting, plan and specification review, and contractor/client coordination
- Perform routine civil engineering support tasks under the direction of an engineer
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Previous construction related experience
