Genesis10 is seeking a Commercial Loan Service Officer. This is a hybrid 3-month contract position with a client located in Brooklyn, OH. This role can be located in Brooklyn, OH, Cleveland, OH, Canton, OH, Boise, ID, Syracuse, NY, Milwaukie, OR, or Everett, WA, and requires a minimum of 2 days on-site per week.

Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level.

Job Description:
Responsible for assisting the Middle Market Loan Fulfillment team and Loan Closers in supporting commercial loans. Adheres to all client and regulatory compliance procedures, including but not limited to Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Patriot Act, Beneficial Owner, and Flood, and adheres to all internal procedures and controls.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for conducting post-booking quality verification to ensure consistency between loan approvals, loan documents, and the LoanIQ (LIQ) system.
  • Identify, analyze, and balance gray areas of risks/exceptions, and communicate issues to Loan Closer or management; understands the importance of balancing service and risk.
  • Independently manage assigned work with limited oversight from manager; offer assistance to others as time permits.
  • Beneficial Ownership recertifications.
  • Coordinates the preparation of DocuSign envelopes for the electronic execution of internally prepared LaserPro documents or outside counsel-prepared documents.
  • Generates covenant waiver letters and facilitates the wet or electronic execution.
  • Delivers distinctive personalized service to internal clients.
  • Works in tandem with the Middle Market Loan Closers to take ownership of proper tracking and/or escalation and remediation of documentation exceptions.
  • Requests Universal Commercial Code (UCC) searches, Good Standing, Civil Suits & Judgements, and Lien Searches for review by Middle Market Loan Closer.
  • Utilizes nCino and KeyView Deluxe (KVD) as appropriate for transaction tracking.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years' related job experience; preferably in banking
  • Strong solution-oriented and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • PC proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote
  • Familiarity with commercial banking systems preferred. (LoanIQ, Salesforce, LaserPro, DocuSign, Beneficial Ownership System (BOS))
