Job Description:
  • The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for providing high-quality patient service, performing accurate blood specimen collection, and preparing samples for laboratory testing.
  • This role requires professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to work safely and efficiently while creating a positive experience for patients.
  • The PSR I ensures accurate and timely daily activities under the direction of a supervisor.
  • This position involves maintaining a safe, professional environment, performing clinical and forensic specimen collection, ensuring proper documentation, and promoting a positive image to patients and the public.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • bility to perform quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • bility to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs.
Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months required.
  • One plus years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience required.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily tasks accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe and professional workplace.
  • Perform high-quality clinical and forensic specimen collection.
  • Process specimens following established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and organizational commitment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualification and Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
