Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant I or II in the Intensive Care Progressive Care Unit. This role involves providing essential patient care, observing and reporting any changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver basic patient care with attention to detail and empathy.
  • Observe and communicate any abnormal occurrences or changes in patient status promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies for the unit efficiently.
  • Perform various duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong guest relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Receptive to supervision from a multidisciplinary team.
  • Adaptable to varying work tasks and schedules.
  • Quick learner with basic computer proficiency.
  • Physical capability to turn and lift patients, withstanding standing, walking, bending, and lifting demands.
  • Visual and auditory acuity necessary for patient observation.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts.
  • Exposure to blood and body fluids requires adherence to safety protocols.
Education and Certifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential registered with the appropriate state registry.
Experience
  • Basic knowledge of age-specific patient care considerations.
